Our Responsibility

At Mamine Living, responsibility begins with thoughtful design. We believe that furniture should not only bring comfort and beauty into the home, but also be created with care - for the people who use it and for the resources used to make it.

From materials to production, every decision is guided by a simple principle: create pieces that are made to last. Below, you can learn more about the materials, production, and principles behind every Mamine chair.

Responsible Materials

We carefully select materials for their durability, comfort, and quality. Each fabric and component is chosen not only for how it looks, but for how it performs in everyday life.

Our fabrics are tested to be free from harmful substances, ensuring they are safe for both mother and baby. The wooden parts of our chair are made from FSC®-certified wood, sourced from responsibly managed forests that help protect both nature and the communities that depend on them.

By prioritising high-quality materials, we create furniture designed to last for many years, supporting a more thoughtful and responsible approach to consumption.

Made to Order

Every Mamine chair is crafted especially for you.

Rather than producing large quantities in advance, each chair is made only once an order is placed. This made-to-order approach allows us to avoid unnecessary stock and reduce overproduction, supporting a more thoughtful and responsible way of creating furniture.

It also allows our production partners to focus on careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every piece is made with the same level of precision and care.

The result is a chair that is not only beautifully crafted, but also produced with intention — created specifically for your home, and designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Built to Last

Our furniture is designed to move with you through different stages of life, from the early days of motherhood to the many years that follow.

The design is intentionally timeless, allowing the chair to transition naturally from the nursery into the living room, bedroom, or any space in the home. Rather than being a piece used only during the baby years, it is intended as a lasting interior piece that remains part of your home and your family’s story for years to come.
